On the rocks

On the Rocks began after the rain. I noticed tiny drops of water caught on a branch, and when the sun suddenly hit them, they looked remarkably like diamonds.

That fleeting little moment became the starting point for an entire collection. I translated the irregular drops into brilliant stones and let them sit organically in gold, almost as if nature had placed them there herself.

Since then, the design has travelled into diamonds, emeralds and different forms, but the idea remains the same.

A little piece of rain, permanently caught in the sunshine.
